With the purpose to develop students’ creative and practical abilities, Luhe High School organized a comprehensive practicing activity for the students in 19 classes in Grade 1 from April 4^th to April 9^th. Students visited the large-sized modern enterprise—Gaobeidian sewage treatment plant as well as the modern model agricultural farm—Jinxiu Dadi. The students also took part in some educational training of labor and technology, such as arts and cutting, pottery, making small rockets and so on. Each student also chose his own topic to study further. They wrote research paper through their own active and exploratory study and practice. Students said that this kind of comprehensive activity not only enlarged their eyesight but also enriched their social knowledge. What’s more, it also developed their consciousness of creativity and DIY ability. It was very significant to take part in such kind of activity.
